Ang Hapag Ng Pag-asa is a painting that best describes the reality of the Filipino society. Yes there can be a table of hope only when everyone of us can be like Jesus, eating, sitting down with the downthrodden, the needy. This painting is a challenge. A challenge that you and me may live the way Christ was. He immersed with God's people, His own people. He challenged to do also. He asked us to help Him by helping the needy, "... whatever you do to the least of these my brothers (and sisters and children) you do it to me" (cf: Matthew 25:31-46).
